Welcome to the 17th World Telecommunication Day!

Széchenyi István University is proud to host the "World Telecommunication and Information Society Day 2026" event in Győr for the 17th time. Over the years, this event has become a prominent meeting point for the Hungarian infocommunications sector, uniquely bringing together representatives from across the profession. This year, the organizational tasks are being managed by the University's Defense and Space Research Center.

The motto for this year’s event is: "Resilient, Secure, and Sustainable Connectivity: On Earth and in Space"
